After a mad dash to complete the rest of the Oscars nominees before the ceremony, it’s time for our hosts to slow down a bit and talk about some of the great films they missed in 2023. First on the list: Saltburn!
Emerald Fennell’s second feature has been described as The Talented Mr. Ripley meets Brideshead Revisited. Barry Keoghan stars as Oliver Quick, an Oxford scholarship student who becomes dangerously obsessed with the exuberantly wealthy Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi). After being invited to Catton’s estate for the summer, Quick ingratiates himself with the Cattons, becoming a regular part of the family… but does he belong?
