May 8, 2024100 years ago, Harry and Jack Cohn, along with Joe Brandt, founded Columbia Pictures. 20 years ago, Columbia Pictures would be responsible for distributing Spider-Man 2, the sequel to Evil Dead director Sam Raimi’s movie about the Marvel superhero that would be hailed as one of the greatest superhero movies of all time. Just this year, Sony, the parent company of Columbia and license-holder for the Spider-Man character would re-release all the live action Spider-Man movies in theatres for an event called Spider-Mondays. Now four weeks in, our hosts give their thoughts not just on the event, but on the whole Raimi series!
