Taking place in frontier Oregon a little over 150 years ago, First Cow tells the story of down-on-their-luck travellers King Lu and Cookie Figowitz. When a local bureaucrat brings in the first cow in the Oregon Territory, Cookie and King begin stealing milk to make delicious biscuits. But how long can such a scheme last?
