On this episode, Pierre and Jeff travel back to 2010, the year that a movie about Mark Zuckerberg faced off against an LGBTQ psychological horror movie to be Best Picture at the Academy Awards! But which film won that year? None other than The King’s Speech!

Tom Hooper’s only film so far to win the Oscar for Best Picture (as well as the only one to bag Hooper a personal win for Director), The King’s Speech tells the story of King George VI and his friendship with speech therapist Lionel Logue.

So was The King’s Speech worthy of a Best Picture award? Or was it ultimately no more than a safe choice?
