This week, our hosts return to the distant past of 2018 to rewatch that year’s Best Picture winner: Green Book!
In a year full of great movies, the 2018 Oscars were notable for ignoring quite a few. But the Academy didn’t ignore the Peter Farrelly-directed, Mahershala Ali vehicle tackling racism in the 60s. Green Book would go on to win Best Picture, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor for Ali. Did it deserve any of them? Tune in to hear our hosts’ verdict!
