It’s the second of our dedicated Best Picture nominees episodes! This time, our hosts discuss Judas and the Black Messiah, a biopic starring Daniel Kaluuya as Fred Hampton, chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party.
Nominated for six awards, Judas is one of the latest releases up for Oscars. Despite that, Judas will be going into the Oscars having won Best Supporting Actor for Kaluuya at nearly every other awards show so far! Can Kaluuya expect to walk away with an Oscar this year? What about surprise entrant Lakeith Stanfield?
