Debuting to incredible critical and commercial success, Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse continues the stories of Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy as they fall in with a legion of multiversal Spider-People. Joining our heroes this time are Indian Spiderman Pavitr Prabhakar (Karan Soni), Spider-Punk Hobie Brown (Daniel Kaluuya), and Spider-Man from the year 2099, Miguel O’Hara (Oscar Isaac).
As a sequel to one of the most influential movies of the last decade, expectations were high for Across the Spiderverse. But while the movie ups the ante from Into the Spiderverse in many ways, is it able to clear the high bar of quality Lord and Miller set with its predecessor?
